Horseradish is easy to plant. Work some old compost and sandy into your soil. Throw in a little peat moss and your almost done. Now take your hoe and make a trench about 5 inches deep. Plant the Horseradish root in the trench at a 45 deep angle / like that / . Now replace the soil that you took out.
The Horseradish are slow to sprout but once they do come above ground. They quickly make big lush bright green leaves. Some will even bloom a white flower. Let the Horseradish grow till fall then lift it out of the soil and cut off as much of the new root as you like. Be sure to put the Mother Root back into the soil so she can keep on growing.
